Goo Goo Dolls at Desert Diamond Arena

Goo Goo Dolls join Def Leppard and The Struts for a rock concert at Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale, Arizona, on April 29, 2027. On ticketsphoenix.org, this event is listed in the Concerts category and Pop / rock subcategory.

Formed in Buffalo, New York, in 1986, the Goo Goo Dolls grew from punk and alternative roots into one of pop rock's best-known acts. Fronted by John Rzeznik and Robby Takac, the band built a lasting catalog around emotionally direct songwriting and memorable melodies. Its 1998 album Dizzy Up the Girl produced signature songs including “Iris,” “Slide” and “Black Balloon”; “Name,” “Here Is Gone” and “Big Machine” are also among its fan favorites. The group's more recent album, Chaos in Bloom, arrived in 2022.

Expect a guitar-led arena performance drawing on the band's decades-long catalog. “Iris” has become a defining singalong, while the group's mix of familiar hits and deeper cuts gives longtime listeners plenty to anticipate. The announced lineup also features British rock band The Struts and legendary hard-rock group Def Leppard. No specific tour title or set list has been confirmed for this date.

Venue and Seating Information

Located at 9400 West Maryland Avenue, Desert Diamond Arena is an 18,000-seat entertainment venue in Glendale's Westgate Entertainment District. Its two-level concourse layout serves lower-bowl, club-level, suite and upper-bowl seating, with premium standing and club experiences available in the Bassline Live area for select events.

For a concert view, lower-bowl center sections facing the stage are the strongest choice, offering a direct perspective on the performance. Upper-bowl corner seats are generally less desirable because of their more angled view; they can still suit fans prioritizing a higher vantage point over proximity.
